Sterling silver and real Turquoise.

MEASUREMENTS:

Necklace measures approximately 26-1/2" and weighs 64 grams. Post earrings measure approximately 3/4" long and 3/4" at widest point.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a very exquisite necklace set that must not be overlooked! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Lynette Largo, out of genuine sterling silver beads and real Turquoise stones. The necklace consists of: 6-mm silver eccentric round beads, and silver hollow beads that beautifully graduate, allowing the smallest beads at the end to measure 14-mm and the largest beads in the center to measure 25-mm. THREE of the silver beads have THREE stones delicately placed in hand cut shadow box bezel settings that are accented by gorgeous stamped designs for an exquisite look. The neckace is stamped sterling. Post earrings perfectly match the necklace for a phenomenal finish to this set! 

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
