Post hoop earrings measure approximately 1-1/8" long and 1/4" at widest point.

DESCRIPTION:

This magnificent and traditional pair of earrings represents the finest of Navajo craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Andrew Enrico, out of genuine sterling silver and man made Opal inlay. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines can be seen accenting for a magnificent finish. The earrings are stamped sterling.  

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Sanskrit word "Upala" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
