This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Tracy Bowekaty, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: real Oyster Shell, Coral, Lapis, and Malachite. The Oyster Shell is hand carved to look like individual pieces of corn, then it is carefully placed into a corn shaped silver setting. In Oyster Shell, other stones can be seen resembling different colors of corn. Silver beads can be seen accenting the earrings for a perfect finish. The corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes. It is used for prayer of fertility and a good growing season. Earrings are signed by the artist.
