DESCRIPTION:

This lovely pair of earrings is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Sadie Jim, out of authentic sterling silver and real Turquoise stones. This pair of earrings has a total of FOUR stones (TWO in each earring) that are gently placed in hand cut bezel settings. Twisted silver, hand crafted silver work, and mini silver beads can be seen adding style for a magnificent finish. The earrings are stamped .925 (sterling) and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.
