Pot measures approximately 4-1/4" tall, 4" wide and is 13-1/4" in circumference (around its widest point).

This beautiful style of Navajo art is called horse hair pottery because actual horse hair is added to the pottery at just the right moment in the firing process to melt the hairs into the pottery, creating unique and incredible designs. This Native American pot was hand etched and painted, by Navajo artist Sylvia Johnson, with outstanding traditional patterns, and a hand woven dream catcher design. The pot is Navajo and signed by the artist.

It is believed that each carefully woven web will catch your bad dreams in the night. The bad spirit dreams will get caught in the web and disappear with the morning sun. However, the good spirit dreams will find their way to the center spirit hole.
