DESCRIPTION:

Looking at such beauty tells the capabilities of Native American art! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Pino Yunis, out of genuine sterling silver and real Multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Coral, Lapis, Jet, Malachite, and Mother of Pearl. The inlay is carefully set, creating an adorable Thunderbird design. Mini silver beads accent the ring for a delightful finish. The ring is stamped Zuni and hallmarked.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

The malachite stone is wonderful! The colour is much richer and more dramatic than what was depicted in the photo of the item on the site. The setting is lovely! Very happy with. :)

Purchased earrings resembling feathers in sterling silver as gifts for my daughter and a 30" liquid silver necklace for myself. The most beautiful jewelry I am so proud to own. I will continue to buy from Native you can't do better.

    Beautiful Pendants
Posted by Gary T. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
I recently purchased a beautiful Zuni ring during a trip to New Mexico. Wanted to get some Zuni jewelry for Christmas gifts but was a bit leary of purchasing on line. Decided to purchase three pendants from Native American. They arrived in two days and were absolutely stunning. Excellent quality and at a great “sale” price.
