DESCRIPTION:

This striking traditional bracelet represents the finest of Navajo craftsmanship! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Thomas Yazzie, out of genuine sterling silver and a man made Opal stone. The bracelet features a beautiful Opal stone that is carefully set in a hand cut bezel setting, while being accented with mini silver beads. FOUR silver bars make up the cuff, creating a fabulous look. The bracelet is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
