Pot measures approximately 10-1/4" tall, 10" wide and is 34-3/4" in circumference (around its widest point).

This beautiful style of Navajo art is called horse hair pottery because actual horse hair is added to the pottery at just the right moment in the firing process to melt the hairs into the pottery, creating unique and incredible designs. There is a Turquoise stone inlay in the pottery. This outstanding Native American Pot is hand etched and painted, by Navajo artist Myron Charley. The pot is signed Navajo and by the artist.

The snake is found in many healing and fertility rituals. It is also connected with lightning, speed, and the ability to move undetected.

Myron Charley is a Native American artist born into the Navajo Nation in 1975. His mother, Susie Charley, was an inspiration for his work . Myron specializes in different potteries such as wedding vases, seed pots, and more.

    What a xmas present
Posted by Guy R. | Reviewing NativeAmericanJewelry.com | Posted on
On the 17th of December I ordered two necklaces from Native American Jewelry. The following Thursday I received both necklaces in the mail. When I opened them they were individually packed in a secure packing box. Before I left my mail box I opened the box and took out each necklaces. I found each of them were lovely and well worth the money I paid for them. On the night before Christmas I secured each necklaces in the limbs of our Christmas Tree. On Christmas morning I told my wife some of her gifts were in the tree. After searching for several minutes she found each of the necklaces, opened the presence and fell in love with them. I'm looking forward to buying more from Native American Jewelry.

Bout Zuni hummingbird earrings for a friend who lives in NJ. She loved them and I know they are unique, especially to the east coast. And delivery was quick.
